(5) Overall experience

The fun and encouraging layout of the workout keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is very supportive and everyone is recognized for doing the workout to their abilities. I am working on doing a muscle up. I know from the encouragement of the coaches I will succeed at getting my muscle up. I would recommend the program to anyone due to the fun workouts.

(5) Program quality and activities

I love that I still get to do gymnastics-based moves. Some of these are kip swings, back-walk-overs, and handstands. I have learned many new skills. Some of these are rowing, deadlines, kettlebell work, and working towards a muscle up. I am sure I will continue to grow and learn new skills.

(5) Social dynamics and experience

On the first day, I easily made a new friend and look forward to continuing to build this friendship. Partnering up during the workout helps to build relationships with many new people in a positive way. The games at the end of the program encourage teamwork and communication between all children.

(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors

Liliana instantly connected with coach Carlton. His happy, energetic personality drew her in to try new things. He is able to encourage all the children based on their individual needs. All of the staff are welcoming. The check in with each member when they arrive. During a workout they are able to make adaptations as needed.

(5) Advice and tips

Do not hesitate to ask as many questions you have. All the staff are open to hearing your thoughts and helping you to understand new things. Liliana loved crossfit so much she encouraged me her 40 yr old mom to join for the first time. The gym is very welcoming and has a positive community feel.
