Potterheads Fiesta 2: Discrimination 

Dive into the world of Harry Potter

The Potterhead Fiesta is a chance for Harry Potter enthusiasts to work on their reading and writing skills while engaging in fun, creative activities and discussing their favourite characters, locations, and spells!  

Areas of Focus | Students will get to:

• Design their own Hogwarts House from top to bottom
• Read and discuss various story elements
• Submit written responses to reading comprehension questions
• Work on their creative skills by rewriting sections of the story

Main Skills to be taught and practiced:

• Creative Writing
• Wand-making
• Critical Thinking
• Literary Analysis
• Discussion

End-of-Week Project:  

The Untold Story - a section of the story rewritten from a chosen character’s perspective
