Debate at FDT Academy

Debate is the act of formal disagreement and is a subject that lies at the core of FDT’s curriculum. It is the same activity that has sharpened the minds of influential people such as Nelson Mandela, Margaret Thatcher, and Oprah Winfrey. Going beyond just teaching students how to form arguments, FDT encourages students to learn how to use rhetoric and evidence through debate, forming a skillset that allows them to succeed in their future academic and professional careers. At FDT, students are able to take the skills they learn in the classroom to tournaments we offer locally, nationally, or even internationally in countries such as the United States, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and Thailand.

Winter Debate Camp Classes

The classes will run from December 27th to 29th and January 2nd to 5th. 

Students can register for one lesson or for the entire seven-day program. These camp days are four hours in length and range in size, with approximately one teacher for every five students. The camp is split off based on students' experience levels and competition needs, to ensure that students get the most out of each session.
