Hoop Dreams Overnight Basketball Camp - CIT Program 15-16

The Coach in Training (CIT) program is ideal for any male or female who has just completed grade 10. We are looking for athletes that are eager to continue the commitment to build their leadership experience, are committed to excellence in their life, have a passion for basketball, and a willingness to share that passion with kids in hopes of one day joining our coaching staff.

Athletes will learn how their experience in sports can be used to create success in their lives.

CITs participate in our ongoing Game Planning Tool so that they will have an understanding of their leadership achievements and performance over the week.

CITs will have the ability to do in-class and on-court learning.

CITs will also get to participate in morning 5-on-5 games with Teen Camp. The rest of the time is spent learning on and off the court.

CITs do not participate in basketball skill sessions with Teen Camp.

Part of the CIT program means that they will sleep in a cabin with young campers.

Staying in the cabin & helping coach our campers is for training & learning purposes only. CITs are not counted in our staff-to-camper ratio.
