Great hockey starts with great skating! Edge Power Skating and Hockey Toronto specializes in hockey power skating, teaching proper technique and building skating confidence. We offer power skating and specialty hockey skills sessions and camps for players of all ages and abilities. Our progressive programs include weekly lesson plans that build hockey skills and fast skaters. Our expert instructors focus on individual strengths and weaknesses, adapting to each player’s learning style. With positive encouragement, our players improve quickly!

What makes us unique? Our program leads with power skating skills. A hockey player is skating 100% of a hockey game. Skating helps create time and space for your player to execute stellar stickhandling, passing and shooting. We break down the fundamentals of all skating & hockey skills. We focus on the critical details needed to perfect them. Our approach yields proven results—players leave our program stronger, faster, and with a more powerful technique. Through compassionate, step-by-step coaching, we build on each player’s strengths and address weaknesses, ensuring steady progress and improved performance on the ice.

Our program is for players 5 years and older. Your child must know how to skate and be in full hockey equipment. Our players stay in our program for an average of 5-6 years. Our coach- to-player ratio is typically 1:8 but often 1:5. Our registration is simple and straight forward. Our registration coordinator will be in touch 24-48 hours after registration. We offer AAA specialty programs Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday mornings (6:45/7 am) at Forest Hill arena September-March. We offer our sessions September to June, evenings and weekends, at various locations. We also offer PA day camps, Holiday camps, March break camps and Summer full day or half day camps.

Our expert instructors are specialists in skating and hockey. Our head power skating coaches are former figure skaters and our hockey coaches have played either AAA or Junior A hockey. We have coaches that have been both figure skaters and hockey players - the ultimate unicorn. Our team works collaboratively to share their knowledge. Together, they help players build their skating and hockey skillset, confidence, and success on and off the ice.
