Parent & Tot Music [Virtual]

Come dance, sing, play rhythm instruments and have fun with your little ones in our infant and toddler music classes.

This program is offered both in person and on line.  Class meets once a week for 8 weeks.  Each class is 45 minutes.

At DoReMi we specialize in Early Childhood Music Education.  During class, you and your child will be introduced to a wide variety of activities.  There will be fingerplays for rhythm and fine motor skill development, active songs to work on a sense of beat and to encourage graceful movement, stop & start songs and other activities to help with impulse control, as well as cuddle songs to help your child learn to become calm.

The repertoire introduced during class will include selections from different time periods, different cultures, and will include different genres as well as a variety of musical sounds.  This helps your child develop an extensive  vocabulary of musical patterns which provides a good foundation for formal music lessons later on.

Classes are very active, so be ready to jump, twirl, dance, march and bang!
