Solution Topic
Select from three real life problems for which no solution exists
Campers will work in teams to select their topic and form a working prototype
Design , Experiment, Build
Using Design Thinking principles, campers will learn to connect with their audience, ideate, prototype and test a working model
Campers will get introduced to a suite of emerging technologies from which they will choose to solve their real wold problem
Campers will learn the art of pitching their product idea

Product Pitch
Students will make:
Campers will work with 3D modelling to make their prototypes
Campers will convert models via 3D printing
With use of required technology, campers will build and program a working prototype of the model
Campers will prepare a product pitch
Students will take home:
3-D printed models
An Arduino board or Micro:bit
Project ideas and prepared pitch

Students will either visit Science centre on Friday or will be visited by a tech company for expo
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Resilience: When young kids learn to code, they become problem solvers and develop critical thinking. With any problem solving, children have to stay with the problem long enough to find meaning solutions. Coding develops a child's ability to develop perseverance and resilience as they create fun projects
Creativity: Code-it Hacks Inquiry and play-based summer camps ensures that technology is used towards solving a real-life problem that is out of the box. Each camp demands students to engage in fun group-based activities to develop creative solutions all while having a blast with crafts and technology
