Leadership In Training (LIT)

Our Leaders In Training program is for teens ages 15 and 16 who are interested in learning to become leaders at camp, school, or church communities.

The LIT course is a three-week program. The first two weeks of the program focus on providing both spiritual and practical training. Bible studies and character-building activities help teens explore their questions about God while learning how to run camp programs and provide mentorship to a younger child.

LITs are invited to come back for a third week to put into practice what they've been learning. The third week can happen at any time during the summer and is based on your availability.

After a successful placement week, many LIT’s are invited to return to work at camp throughout the remainder of the summer.

Applicants are accepted into the program based on their application and references.

If finances are a barrier in your child attending LIT, please contact our office for information about our Camper Scholarship Program. There are scholarship funds available specifically towards the LIT program.
