Located on the shores of the Georgian Bay, Camp Simpresca offers 4-day, week long, & monthly programs for boys & girls ages 6-16. Since 1949, many young campers have come to share the joys of camping & the memories it brings.Campers experience a daily rotation of activities, such as highropes & boating! We offer a traditional camp experience, full of campfires, songs, & smiles.

Our mission is, "to provide a safe and healthy camping experience promoting friendship, fun, camping skills and self-awareness, while all members of the Simpresca community challenge themselves physically, intellectually, spiritually and socially." Our beautiful and private property helps build a unique and welcoming community that brings people back year after year. For the campers who age into our leadership program, they are fully embedded into the Simpresca community by receiving their "camp name" on our off-site wilderness trip.

Every summer, we have approximately 30 staff members to care for all of our campers. Every week, a program and cabin counsellor team up to look after the campers in their assigned cabin. Our senior staff support with the daily operations of Simpresca, while our kitchen staff makes sure everyone gets 3 hearty meals a day + snacks. All of our staff are required to be trained in first aid, and additional care is given by our volunteer nurse.
