Our overnight camp for children and teens with and without learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD Level 1 has a few session options:

2-week sessions (running concurrently with the 4-week session) -- NEW FOR 2025!
4-week session
3-week session
7-week session (combined 4-week & 3-week sessions)

As we celebrate our 35th summer this year, we know that these sessions are the right amount of time needed to work on the social skills that we integrate into all of our daily activities. Our goal is for campers to be able to connect with their peers socially, and to establish strong, lasting friendships.

We also want campers an opportunity to explore and develop skills in a variety of activities. The longer sessions allows campers to try many different activities and a chance to pursue specific areas of interest. Our staff are skilled in teaching all activities (sports, arts, and even life skills) in a manner that allows campers the greatest opportunity to achieve success.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Self-regulation: Self-regulation is interconnected with social success, self-confidence, independence and responsibility. At Camp Kodiak, we teach campers to apply strategies to strengthen their self-regulation skills and provide them with coaching when they require additional support.
Interpersonal skills: Our social skills program is seamlessly imbedded into everything we do. From the moment campers wake up, they are learning, practising and refining their social skills under the direction and supervision of our skilled counsellors and staff. Making a friendship last takes time, awareness and effort.
