Discover Camp Ak-O-Mak's six diverse sessions, ranging from 2 to 7 weeks, with Early Bird and Sibling discounts available—check our registration info. Immerse yourself in an authentic Canadian camp experience, an "unplugged" haven where cell phones, laptops, and tablets are prohibited. Nestled in breathtaking wilderness, campers enjoy nature programs, residing in electricity-free cabins for a genuine connection. Each cabin hosts 8-12 cohorts, guided by dedicated counsellors. Our intentional lack of modern tech lets campers be fully present. It's a unique initiation into nature's embrace. Embark on an unforgettable journey where tradition, nature, and camaraderie converge for the best camp experience at Camp Ak-O-Mak.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Courage: Camp Ak-O-Mak ignites courage in girls through empowering experiences, fostering resilience and self-discovery in a supportive and adventurous environment. Our program empowers every girl to recognize her capabilities, from conquering homesickness to swimming a mile.
  • Independence: Camp Ak-O-Mak nurtures independence in girls by providing opportunities for self-directed exploration and decision-making. Through a supportive atmosphere, we encourage each girl to discover her strengths and capabilities, fostering a sense of confidence and autonomy.
