At Blyth Academy, we believe that travel during the teenage years is an essential part of a well-rounded education. Enrolling your teen in our Italy & Greece summer travel program not only allows them to earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credit but also to experience the world firsthand.
The group will embark on an overnight flight from Toronto to Rome, followed by a train journey to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. From there, they will travel to Venice, and then explore the Roman Forum and the ancient city of Rome. The adventure continues in Greece, starting with Athens and followed by island hopping to Paros, Antiparos, and Santorini. Group excursions include guided city tours, catamaran trips, beach visits, Gladiator school, museums, and galleries.
Here's what a typical looks like on the Italy & Greece trip:
Morning :Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Athens before boarding a high-speed ferry to Paros, a gem of the Cyclades. Enjoy stunning views of the Aegean Sea as you cruise towards this picturesque island with crystal-clear waters and charming ports.
Afternoon: Settle into your hotel and explore Parikia town with a guided walking tour. Afterward, dive into class time with a chance to relax by the beach before dinner at the hotel.
