How to be a TikTok Star

Have you ever wondered how your favourite TikTokers started? Do you want to become TikTok famous? Are you curious about how TikTok works? In this mini course series, you’ll learn the basics of TikTok and how to grow your following. Understand how to find ideas, how to use TikTok’s in-app editing software, how to jump on trends, the basics of good lighting and sound, and how to grow your following. TikTok really is the place for everyone – let’s make it the place for you!

This 5 week mini workshop will teach you the basics of TikTok, how to find ideas, how to film, how to edit, and how to keep track of your analytics to keep your follower count growing.

This class includes a parent TikTok privacy and safety training module.

All students will need access to a laptop, a smartphone and a TikTok account (preferably a public account) for class.

Note: You are more than welcome to take the class with a private TikTok account, however some elements of the course will be applicable to public accounts only.
