Music & Marching

Join our dynamic Music and Marching Camp, designed for students entering Grades 9-12 who are passionate about music and performance. Students time will be divided between learning exciting concert band repertoire, small ensemble music, and marching band routines. This camp offers an exciting opportunity to explore the world of marching band, focusing on concert band instruments. Marching while playing has a demonstratable effect on each musician’s rhythmic sense and sight-reading ability. Throughout the week, campers will develop their musical skills, sense of ensemble, and ability to play while marching. The showcase performance will feature marching while playing and transition into a sit-down concert. 

NOTE: For campers to be able to march and play it is a requirement that they have been playing their instrument for at least two years and can play at a B200 level.
