Dive into a world where nature inspires art, and every creation tells a story! This camp is designed for children who are excited to explore new ways of making art, using the natural world around them as both a muse and material. Campers will forage and collect natural materials like leaves, twigs, stones, and more, all within the beautiful surroundings of Ashbury, to create unique works of art that express personal stories and ideas.
In this hands-on camp, campers will set up temporary outdoor studios to build, invent, and experiment with natural and traditional art techniques. Whether creating sculptures, paintings, or mixed-media pieces, campers will challenge their creative thinking and stretch their imaginations to tell meaningful stories through their artwork.
Collaboration is key! Campers will work together on group projects that encourage teamwork, communication, and innovative problem-solving. By the end of the week, they’ll have a collection of artworks that reflect their creativity and the stories they want to tell.
On the final day, we’ll celebrate all that has been created with an Art Vernissage (a lively art show) and a fun-filled day of art games to wrap up the week of creativity and discovery!
