The Our Kids review of Active Scholars

    our take

Active Scholars' camps and programs are distinct for combining STEM with skills development in basketball and other sports. Their Girls Infinity program is a unique girls-only program—taught by women only—that empowers young women through participation in sports combined with programming that features interactive robots as well as coding and media. Similarly, Boys Infinity integrates STEM and basketball, giving boys a setting that combines competitive skills growth in b-ball with academic growth. That unique focus is topped off with a variety of learning that includes guest speakers and more. Self-discipline and personal dedication are implicitly taught. The program propels boys' and girls’ personal growth,  encouraging independence, curiosity, and social skills development.

    What an Experience!

"What an experience! Christa and her team were amazing. My boys loved every moment of each camp. Christa and her team have a hands on approach when interacting with the kids. Every day the boys would come home and tell me all the good things that they experienced. From sports to science, they enjoyed every moment of it. They looked forward to going to camp every day. They enjoyed it so much that I had to enrol them again this year! They are looking forward to spending their summer with Active Scholars" ... Show More

My daughter has enjoyed 2 sessions with Active Scholars. She took part in the summer program and loved it so much that she was also registered for the Girls Infinity program. The program engages her, she has fun and she learns. I am always waiting around at the end of a class because she doesn’t want to leave. I know she is safe with her teachers as they are extremely professional, yet loving and caring. I highly endorse this program and hope that it is around for years to come ... Show More
