This art course focuses on understanding art made by diverse artists from different cultures and world regions. We also explore eco responsible art methods and materials: three dimensional artworks such as fiber upcycled sculptures, food safe wax sculptures, and papier maché relief art. We will also do several eco responsible printmaking techniques including mono printing, collagraph, and stenciling. As well, we will paint using veggie paints and draw with voc free markers and watercolour pencils. All projects follow the creative process of learning about art, sketching ideas, receiving feedback, and creating the final art piece.
